Some customers want to create a cake for themselves. Others, it’s for their kids. But this customer created this cake for his dad! It's Dad's Car in cake form!

Stacked four layers high and constructed like a wedding cake with dowels and support boards, this popcorn box will serve 30-40 hungry children easily. Yes, that’s real popcorn overflowing from the top! Party Cakes likes to use real food items whenever possible.

Pass the Popcorn

This cake can stand on it’s own–literally! The wheels are oreos covered with fondant icing but everything else is sculpted butter cream. You CAN eat every bit of this car!

Why should tiered cakes be only reserved for weddings? Not at Party Cakes! We can create tiered cakes for any occasion including a child’s birthday. Adeline was very happy to see her butterflies on her cake and mom was glad that everything matched: the cake, the table decorations, the room decorations and even the cupcakes that she gave away to her guests, each with a matching pink or green sugar butterfly.

Skating on Cupcakes

Creative Children’s Cakes

Thanks to shows like Ace of Cakes and the Cake Boss, the demand for creative cakes has increased by 200% in the Michigan area. That demand has extended to Children’s Themed cakes too. Customers do not want the grocery store decorating with just toys placed on the cake. They want the ONE-OF-A-KIND cake that nobody else has and be the envy of their friends. Party Cakes in Berkley has been filling that need for the past nine years offering unique designs that nobody else offers. Take a look at some of our recent creations…

Fondant and buttercream items

This special birthday cake featured fondant strawberries and fondant accents along with buttercream icing. Mom was giddy with delight!

Alice in Wonderland Theme Jumbo Cupcake

This cupcake was the hit of the party. Matching standard cupcakes also attended the party with a variety of decorations. Watch for an upcoming post to view those.

It's a baseball in the grass

Something for little boys. This theme can also be created with a soccer ball, football or even a basketball on a “hardwood” floor.

Castle is carrying case for princesses

This is the newest design from the Disney merchandising marketing team, but with the Party Cakes flair. The emphasis is on the details. There is enough cake to serve 35-40 guests. This cake could be made larger but not smaller.
